Key Appointments At Costain

Costain Energy & Process has announced two key
appointments.
Andrew Pennington will be taking Strategy & Business
Development Director and Martin Land becomes Power Sector
Director.
Andrew has more than twenty years experience in the oil &
gas and nuclear industries. He has an honours degree in mechanical
engineering from the University of Surrey and an MBA from Cranfield
School of Management. Andrew's responsibilities will include
developing long term strategies to achieve the Company's growth
targets in the energy and process sectors.
Martin joins Costain from E.ON where he held responsibility for
the development of a portfolio of power projects with a potential
installed capacity over 5 GW. His early career began with ICI in
the North West. He subsequently held positions of increasing
responsibility with other blue-chip organisations including Alstom,
Westinghouse and Bechtel. He has both domestic and overseas
experience in the bidding and execution of power plant
projects.
Martin has an honours degree in mechanical engineering from the
University of Nottingham and is a member of the Association of
Project Managers. His role will be key in the development of
Costain's business in the power sector.
