Support For Solutions Charity
8 March 2010
ADS (Addiction Dependency Solutions*), has been selected as the
charity of choice by Costain staff working on the Greater
Manchester Waste project.
Costain holds regular events at which project staff donate money
to a charity of their choice, and they were keen to lend their
support to ADS.
Stephen Samuels, ADS Oldham Service Manager, said: "We are
delighted to be selected by Costain. We are going to spend it on
our drop-in centre, which is central to our work with clients. We
always aim to give all our clients a warm welcome, and to work with
them in friendly surroundings."
Rhona Bradley, ADS Chief Executive, says: "As an organisation we
like to foster good relationships within the community, and
especially with other organisations and businesses. We offer a
number of services to business, including staff information
training, as well as volunteering opportunities. We are very
pleased to have been chosen by Costain. My thanks to the staff who
donated money, and I hope that there will be ways in which we
can work with them in the future."
John Boyd, Costain Project Director, said: "Following
representations from the charity, the Costain staff on the Greater
Manchester Waste project are delighted to be able to offer support
to the valuable work undertaken by ADS within the local
communities."
