35 Awards For Health And Safety

Costain’s commitment to health and safety, occupational health and accident prevention has been recognised at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) 2013 awards.
The Company secured a total of 35 RoSPA awards, including 16 Gold, 10 Silver and 4 Bronze, which all recognised Costain’s commitment to health and safety excellence. It also recognised the success of initiatives like Costain Behavioural Safety where everyone in the business - from employees, customers and the supply chain - understands the importance of taking responsibility not only for their own safety but also for those around them.
The Company’s Energy & Process sector team also won two Order of Distinction Awards, RoSPA’s highest accolade, as well as a President’s Award.
Commenting on the Awards, Peter Fisher, Costain’s Group Safety, Health & Environmental Director, said: “We are delighted to be recognised for these RoSPAs which again demonstrates how important health and safety is to everyone in the Group.”
