ClerkMaxwell targets further growth

14 October 2011

ClerkMaxwell, a Costain Group company, has appointed Graham Callander to the role of Business Development Director as the multi-discipline upstream oil and gas engineering consultancy targets further growth.

Graham has more than 20 years’ UK and international industry experience in business development, tendering, contract management and acquisitions. He will work closely with ClerkMaxwell and Costain senior management.

Graham said: “We plan to grow ClerkMaxwell’s broad portfolio of services to add maximum value to client projects. We will be collaborating with existing and new customers to deliver innovative project solutions through our efficient processes and talented engineers.

“The acquisition of ClerkMaxwell by Costain provides our clients with an integrated business model to enhance project success.”

Alistair Dornan, ClerkMaxwell Strategy and Growth Director, said: “Graham has a first-class reputation and we are delighted to welcome him to the ClerkMaxwell team. His industry expertise, experience and commercial knowledge will be a valuable addition to our business as we look to expand in the next 12 months and beyond.”

ClerkMaxwell, based at Salvesen Tower in the centre of Aberdeen, was acquired by Costain, one of the United Kingdom’s leading engineering solutions providers earlier this year.
