Costain Project Wins International Acclaim

A Costain joint venture project, the construction of the breakwater at the Energia Costa Azul LNG Terminal in Mexico, has won a British Expertise* International Award.

The Costa Azul breakwater is one of the largest offshore caisson breakwaters in the world. The Scott Wilson Group, structural designer for the China Harbour Costain Joint Venture team, won the award for the Major Consultancy Project of the Year. Warren Hibbs, the Costain Project Director for the contract, represented the project team at the awards ceremony.
