Costain's Community Division staged a Safety, Health and Environment day to recognise outstanding performances by members of the supply chain.

Alex Vaughan, Community MD, and Peter Fisher, Group SHE Director, presented the Awards. Recipients were as follows:

Demolition contractor, Clifford Devlin, for its approach to safety on the Parkway project at Newbury.

Stephenson for finishing the concrete frame contract six weeks ahead of schedule at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital whilst still maintaining premier safety standards.

Smiths of Gloucester for showing continuous improvement on safety at the University of Worcester Project.

Bourne Steel for exceptional collaboration when delivering the steel frame on the Gracechurch Street project in London.

Building Schools for the Future project acknowledged the roofing work supplied by Briggs Amasco.
