Costain Sponsors Water And Wastewater Exhibition

27 March 2014

Costain is playing a major role in the IWEX water and wastewater exhibition.

In support of its Engineering Tomorrow strategy, and for the second year, the Company will sponsor the Water Theatre, at the NEC in Birmingham, as part of Sustainability Live.  IWEX is one of three co-located shows, the other two being *NEMEX and Energy Recovery, taking place from 1-3 April 2014.

IWEX was formed 25 years ago and has since become the leading UK event for the water and wastewater sectors.  It offers those exhibiting the chance to promote their products and services to an audience of thousands of industry professionals.  The event attracts a large variety of visitors due to their attendance at the other two shows.

In 2013 IWEX attracted visitors from 48 countries from across both the public and private sectors.

The event will feature a series of seminars and discussions on the issues facing the water industry.  On the opening day Costain will host a roundtable discussion on using expertise from other sectors to improve sustainability and efficiency of water assets.  Speakers at the roundtable discussion will include Costain’s Director for Water, Matthew Crabtree; Director of Operations, Colin Reynell and Supply Chain Manager, Steve Fozard.

Steve said: “Costain’s approach to improving the productivity of the entire supply chain is a vital part of our business and, in sponsoring the Water Theatre, we are leading the discussions in AMP6 pertaining to the water sector.  Costain is holding a roundtable discussion with Richard Ogden of Build Offsite where we will discuss Costain’s approach and the benefits this will bring.”

Costain’s roundtable discussion will be captured on film and promoted on the Sustainability Live website. For more information click on www.sustainabilitylive.com
