One of Britain's major energy projects was given the spotlight at the Costain Group's fourth 'Celebrating Success' Awards at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel at Heathrow.

Costain's EVAP D Team from Sellafield received the Team of the Year award from Andrew Wyllie, Costain Chief Executive, in front of an audience of 400 people. Moments before the EVAP D Team took the stage, Andrew made special mention of Ken Stewart, former Costain Rail Director, who tragically died last year. Andrew said that Ken had embodied all the ingredients of a true team player and, in memory of him, the Company was donating £10,000 to a cancer charity.

The awards are an annual event and are given to Costain people for outstanding achievement. These latest awards attracted a record total of 1096 nominations.
