About Adam
With a degree in civil engineering, Adam began his career as an engineer then team leader on major infrastructure projects and quickly progressed to managing complex schemes. His interest in technology and design efficiency led him to spearhead the development and implementation of BIM on a highways project for Costain which was awarded several accolades for quality as well as the Global Bentley ‘Inspiration in Infrastructure Award’.

Why Adam is so passionate about technology integration
In his current role, Adam is leading a BIM and technology integration team for a major defence client. When you speak to him it is clear he loves what he does. His system integration on the project and collaboration with an evolving supply chain has not only delivered a single source of the truth for the client but it has created a culture change and a system that has a 99% audit pass rate (improved from 20% two years ago). His drive for continuous improvement has led him to develop numerous software solutions for a variety of clients as well as leading virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality integrated solutions. Seeing the clear benefits technology can deliver fuels Adam to push the digital boundaries every day.
Adam’s professional aspirations
Adam wants every client and every Costain project to embrace technology integration and he regularly presents at events around the country to demonstrate new capability. In early 2018 he achieved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for a leading project – a 1st at Costain. He has also developed in-house tools to manage assets through life such as COSBi (Costain BIM interface).
