About Charlie
As Strategic growth manager, Charlie is responsible for helping clients to think differently and to find the best solutions to solve the challenges they face. An integral part of the Costain’s innovation team, Charlie led the development of the cloud-based digital platform to help drive more efficient and greener delivery of infrastructure in partnership with SAP and the Transport Infrastructure Efficiency Strategy Living Lab (TIES Living Lab).

Named the award winning Intelligent Infrastructure Control Centre (IICC), the platform harmonises the vast quantities of intelligence that UK infrastructure projects generate and drives greater productivity and resilience through the capture of efficiency and innovation.
The IICC takes operational data from an infrastructure project portfolio and then synthesises the information onto one platform, helping the effective management of operations and informing processes such as budgeting, carbon management, and value creation.
Thanks to his collaborative approach, Charlie sits on the Cross-Whitehall Data Working Group and TIES Modern Methods of Construction Working Group.
