Costain recognises the latest progress achieved across industry in improvements to vulnerable road user safety and construction logistics. In December 2013, the construction industry launched a standard which provides various best practice examples on how to manage work related road risks, associated with construction logistics, effectively. The standard was derived from the work carried out by a handful of key stakeholders from within the construction industry who had formed a working group which is facilitated by Transport for London. The standard is available for free download from the Transport for London site.

Costain is an active member of this working group and is delighted that industry has committed support to drive forward the working group's aims and objectives.
