21 Awards For Health And Safety

Costain produced another impressive performance in the 2016 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards. It won a total of 21 awards in the year that marks the Awards’ 60th anniversary.
There was a notable win for the Heysham to M6 Link Road project, which took the RoSPA International Dilmun Environmental Award. The Award recognises excellence in environmental as well as health and safety management.
Costain also won two Orders of Distinction, RoSPA’s highest accolade presented to organisations that have received a minimum of 15 consecutive Gold Awards, two President’s Awards (awarded to organisations with a minimum of ten consecutive Gold Awards) and four Gold Medals (awarded to organisations that have achieved a minimum of five consecutive Gold Awards).
The company also secured ten Gold Awards and two Silvers, all of which recognised Costain’s commitment to a safer workplace.
