Costain launches 2018 responsible business report

Today, Costain has published its 2018 responsible business report, in which it revealed that it has achieved 93% of its sustainability targets in 2018. The report also outlines the positive progress being made towards meeting its 2025 sustainability goals.

Andrew Wyllie, chief executive, said: “We have made excellent progress against our 2018 sustainability targets. Safety, as always, is our number one priority and we are pleased to report that we have achieved a world class performance with our lowest accident frequency rate ever. I am particularly proud that we have been recognised for the first time as a Times Top 50 Employer for Women, showing that we are making significant process with our efforts to create a more inclusive workplace.

“Our sustainability focus continues this year and we have set some ambitious goals for 2019.”
