Costain has been named in the ‘Top 100 Companies for Graduates to Work For’ by the UK’s leading graduate job review website, TheJobCrowd.

Costain also made the Top 10 list of the Construction and Civil Engineering Companies to work for, with the results in both categories based on a survey of firms that have a large intake, of 30 or more, graduates each year. This year, Costain intends to take on between 100-110 graduates, up from 80 graduates in 2014 and 55 in 2013.

The site hosts thousands of reviews, all written anonymously by graduate employees about graduate employers.

Potential employees can read the reviews to get a unique insight into what it's really like to do specific jobs at particular companies. The information includes what the day-to-day of the job really involves, the hours of work, salary information, advice about applications and interviews, and what the best and worst thing is about the company and the job being applied for.

The results were announced at the 5th annual Top Companies For Graduates To Work For awards at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane, London, recently.
