31 October 2011

Costain Energy & Process has appointed Fadi Atallah as Vice-President, Business Development, Middle East, with responsibility for developing strategic customer relationships and broadening our service offering in the Middle East region.

Fadi, a graduate of the American University of Beirut, joins Costain from GE Energy, where he was responsible for developing and significantly growing business in the region with key customers including GASCO, Qatar Petroleum and Saudi Aramco.

The appointment is aligned with the Choosing Costain strategy to provide full life of asset services to customers.  Fadi will lead the development of new business lines in technology and front end engineering in the Middle East, building on Costain’s reputation for high quality services in this area.

He will report to Frank Millar, Hydrocarbons & Chemicals Sector Director, who commented: “This strategic appointment will help to accelerate the development of a broader Costain business in the Middle East, enhancing our technology and front end capability and provide further choices for our customers as they seek to source the right engineering solutions for their assets.’’ He added: “I am delighted to welcome Fadi to the team and look forward to successfully extending the services that we have provided to our customers in the region for over thirty years.”
