Costain achieved another safety milestone recently by completing three years without a reportable incident on the Dwr Cymru Welsh Water AMP 4 Framework.

The Costain Health and Safety team, led by Ian Boam, run numerous safety incentives alongside the supply chain that have contributed to the increased safety awareness on Costain Dwr Cymru Welsh Water sites.

John Madden, Costain Framework Director, said: "To have exceeded 1,770.824 man hours without a *RIDDOR since January 2007 is a safety performance that the team can all feel very proud of. Safety always has and always will be the number one priority for all Costain Staff and supply chain. We will endeavour to continue this excellent record as we strive to improve on our current standards and practice."

The Framework intends to mark this achievement with a celebration involving all staff from Costain and the supply chain who have contributed to this success.
