The first engineering project I worked on was at London Bridge Station on the Jubilee Line extension in 1995 as part of my industrial placement year at the University of Plymouth. I was sponsored by Costain so working on the redevelopment of London Bridge station felt like the natural fit for me.

We used it as a visualising and coordination tool, which ensured we were aware of any potential clashes before the approval process and long before the construction process – helping us to hit our key milestones.
