Costain is one of the best known and most admired brands in the country….and that’s official.

The UK’s Most Admired Companies league table for 2014 has just been published and Costain has moved to 52nd place from last year’s 55th ahead of such well known names as Royal Dutch Shell, Legal and General, J Sainsbury, Banco Santander, London Stock Exchange, Vodafone, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Serco and Rio Tinto. In total, 236 of Britain’s biggest companies were involved.

The Most Admired Companies league table is organised by Management Today magazine and was compiled by asking Britain’s largest public companies in 24 sectors to evaluate their peers.
