What we do in networks
Our team of electrical transmission and distribution specialists have strong experience with clients, regulators and in supply chain delivery. Services include distribution FEED studies, consulting, overhead lines, cables and substation development, and construction and commissioning. We act as expert strategic partners and joint ventures designed and optimised for the RIIO environment.
Our gas distribution network needs to undergo significant changes to allow us to decarbonise our energy system, comply with environmental legislation and upgrade ageing assets. We can help you appraise, design, construct, commission and operate your gas distribution facilities, providing you with safe, environmentally compliant solutions which do not compromise on reliability or robustness.
We are actively involved in the drive to decarbonise the UK’s gas network by changing the National Grid from methane to hydrogen. We have assessed, in collaboration with the gas networks, the feasibility of injecting a blend of methane and hydrogen into the grid, then separating them out to suit the requirements of the end user.
