We offer sponsored student placements – both summer placements and industrial placements - as part of our internship programme
When you’re on a placement with Costain, you will work to mutually agreed objectives enabling you to focus on key interests or areas of development. You may also be given the opportunity to link in with senior management to work on live business challenges.
Summer work placements usually last 8-12 weeks and industrial work placements 6-12 months. You’ll have a chance to work across a range of exciting projects across the UK.
A student placement can also lead to our graduate programme once you have completed your studies.

Vacancies open between March and May each year. Students begin their placements in June or July.
