To maintain the right calibre of suppliers within our supply chain, potential suppliers must follow one of two pre-assessment routes:

1) Via the Achilles BuildingConfidence accreditation scheme. This is our preferred option. However, we now accept all recognised Common Assessment Standard (CAS) bodies and their associated accreditation schemes (learn more about the schemes here).

2) Via the Costain materials, plant or subcontract pre-qualification questionnaire completed through our Supplier Relationship Management system (SRM). 

If your company would like to be considered for inclusion in our supply chain, please email our Procurement and Supply Chain team.

Your email should include: 

  • Your company name  
  • Your turnover 
  • Brief summary of your services and areas of expertise 
  • Project examples 
  • Trading locations 

We operate a 'No order, no pay' policy.  Please do not provide goods or commence services prior to obtaining a formal order from an authorised Costain representative.  

Please ensure all correspondence with Costain includes the relevant order number. 

For those who have entered into an executed contract with Costain, please follow the application for payment process contained therein. 

For all other suppliers, please submit your invoice to the e-mail address provided on your order.
