The Project
We were commissioned to lead the implementation of an Earned Value Management (EVM) project controls process and independent project performance across a portfolio of highly complex projects.Our role
Our role was to provide the Earned Value Implementation package through:
- Development of the performance measurement baseline (PMB) by integrating skilled resources into the project teams.
- Implementation of Deltek wInsight software and development of a standard EVM report suite to ensure consistency of approach and a common reporting format.
- Delivery of EVM and risk management training courses across the business as part of transferring knowledge including coaching sessions for the Executives.
- Development and implementation of an assurance review framework consisting of integrated baseline reviews (IBR) and demonstration reviews with the full support of the MoD customer.
Our Solution
A collaborative approach to implementing the EVM package by involving key stakeholders led to an optimised solution. The increased visibility provided by our solution gave the client a more effective strategy for managing highly complex technical programmes.
