The redevelopment of London Bridge Station will meet growing transport needs by increasing both passenger and rail capacity at the station by 40 percent.

Key benefits:

  1. 99% of waste diverted from landfill
  2. 30 jobs for local people who were unemployed
  3. Off-site fabrication delivered significant programme benefits
  4. £1.8m+ spent with 20 local suppliers
  5. We are carrying out the detailed design and delivery of this major infrastructure project, including a new concourse at street level which will increase passenger capacity from circa 50 million to 75 million.

The London Bridge project has engaged in an array of sustainability initiatives and practices. The project strives to maintain a fit and healthy workforce, to reduce our use of natural resources, eliminate waste, maximise our talent and skills, integrate business into the community and help tackle the issue of low employment in the London Borough of Southwark.
