The Costain Group has appointed Tim Bowen as Corporate Development Director responsible for driving the future growth of the business through long-term customer relationships and acquisitions.

Tim takes over the role from Alex Vaughan who is now Managing Director for Costain’s Natural Resources Division.  He retains responsibility for activities in the Middle East.

After joining Costain from Atkins in 2005, Tim was instrumental in developing Costain’s market leading Highways activity, successfully expanding into operations, maintenance and technology, while growing the delivery of capital projects.

During this time, Tim was twice named Business Development Manager of the Year and was head of Costain’s award winning Highways Sector team when it achieved the highest score across the industry under the Highways Agency’s Strategic Alignment Review.
