Costain wins double at the Project Controls Expo Awards 2023

Costain’s project controls team won two awards at the prestigious Project Controls Expo awards ceremony this week.
Jonathon Kennedy, a Costain P3M consultant won UK Project Management Apprentice of the Year by demonstrating outstanding technical and leadership qualities during his Project Management and Controls apprenticeship. As Project Manager in a Defence joint venture programme, Jonathon directly oversees two projects valued over £4m, and co-leads a £30m scheme with one other colleague.
Costain Planning Manager, Jon Bibby won Global Project Controls Professional of the Year. He was recognised for his exceptional leadership and his contagious enthusiasm for Project Control. Jon is an active champion for Costain’s Project Control and Graduate programmes, helping address the national skills gap and create a lasting legacy. A diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease has reinforced Jon’s passion and energy in this area.

Costain’s Tracy Graylish, Managing P3M consultant and Richard Pickles, Principal P3M consultant also presented on day one of the Expo in the Case Studies Zone. The topic of Improving data insight for better outcomes in the physical world focused on updating, connecting and integrating client IT architecture and project control processes.
